Short and Long Term Goals
Short term goals
· Start a drama training program for fourth graders in the Lakota school district
· Start a Select Chorus for older elementary school age children.
Long term goals
· Create a drama training program for our communities' children from grade K through 8.
· Offer stage training, as well as technical training in lights, sound, set design, set building, and stage management.
· Offer play writing training as well as directing classes for older children
· Work into a mentoring philosophy where older children, who are participating in the more advanced training, work with the younger children.
· Bring in other avenues of performance such as voice, dance and television. Public Speaking can also be taught.
· Bring more theater to Lakota and increase the public's access and appreciation of the performing arts.
· Make the public aware of basic theater etiquette.
