Winter/Spring 2009 Information Filmmaking Class Seventh and Eighth Graders Only Information on the Fall 2009 class coming soon. If you are interested in getting on to the CPAL email list so you will know when we offer this class again, send an email to CPALakota@hotmail.com Through grant support from Time Warner, Walmart and the Mayerson Fund, CPAL is the proud owner of three high definition, digital camcorders, a loaded Apple laptop and other other video equipment like sound stuff and filters and tripods. CPAL is piloting the video program with a Filmmaking class that will start on Monday February 9th at 7:00 pm. The class will run from 7:00 - 8:15 for nine weeks. The cost of the class is $60.00. The class will be held at Union Elementary on Cincinnati-Dayton Road. The basic format of the class will be: Week 1 - Basics and overview of filmmaking Week 2 - Writing for films Week 3 - Shooting, angles, lighting composition etc. Week 4 - Editing - We will use the Apple iMovie software. Week 5 - Bringing it all together Week 6 - Work on short film Week 7 - Work on short film Week 8 - Work on short film Week 9 - Work on short film Please call 844-2817 to register for this class.
